We are a small nonprofit. We collect very little and use it only to do what you asked us to do.

How Long We Keep Things
Contact form messages are kept as long as they are relevant to our relationship with you. Newsletter subscriber lists are maintained until you unsubscribe. We do not keep data longer than necessary.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any information we hold about you. Write to us at awaited@centerofsorrow.org and we will respond within five working days.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any letter we send.
What We Don't Do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties beyond the platform providers named above. We do not use it for advertising or marketing outside of our own occasional letter.
Third Parties
Our site is hosted by Wix. Their privacy policy governs what they collect at the platform level.
If you use the Participant Portal, that is managed by Practice Better. Their privacy policy governs what they collect there.
Our newsletter is managed through Wix. Their privacy policy also applies to your email address once subscribed.
A note on sensitive content: Messages you send us often carry tender and personal things. We treat everything you share with us as confidential. We do not share the content of your messages with anyone outside The Center of Sorrow without your permission.

What We Collect
When you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it only to send the letter you signed up for.
If you submit a testimonial, we collect your name and reflection. We use these only as you permitted on the submission form, and you can ask us to remove your words at any time.
Our website is hosted on Wix, which collects basic analytics data — page views, general location by country, and device type — as part of running the site. We do not use this to identify individuals.
